Turquoise Morning Press (TMP), an online digital and trade paperback book publisher, was founded in February, 2010. Our first author was signed in May 2010, with that book, Raeliksen by Renee Vincent, releasing later the same year. Since then, a minimum of one book (short story, novella or novel) has been released weekly, with the exception of holiday office closings.
The CEO/Publisher and Owner of Turquoise Morning Press is KJ Jacobs. KJ worked in education and non-profit worlds for over 30 years. She has published freelance non-fiction since the late 80s, and romance/erotic romance fiction since 1997 under pen names, working with small and NY publishing houses. She continues to pen novels today and is an award winning, Amazon bestselling author. In her past non-profit work, she straddled both sides of the publishing fence writing articles, training manuals and book chapters, while also collaborating with publishers and project managers to bring writing and educational products to fruition.
As author/writer, editor, project manager, and also amateur photographer and artist, KJ brings her collective experiences to the publishing world of Turquoise Morning Press. TMP currently operates with a four member advisory board, a six member senior editorial decision-making team, and a free-lance editorial and graphic arts staff.
In December of 2011, Turquoise Morning Press uploaded its 100th digital ebook to retailers.
