JD Ivy

Lost in the woods adjoining JD's parent's property for six days at the age of thirteen was a terrifying experience, but not one JD regrets. Were it not for that unpleasant incident at such an impressionable age, JD would have never learned what it means to survive with only wits and nature's bounty. Skinny to start with, JD came out of the woods dirty, dehydrated, hungry, and rail thin, but also with the imagination that played an ultimate role in survival.

JD Ivy looks forward to sharing that imagination with readers, male and female, young--but not too young--and old, with stories that takes the reader to the places the character's find themselves, be it a skyscraper, secluded cabin, seaside beach, or to the moon.

JD's first book, Deadly Bounty, will published in the fall by Turquoise Morning Press.
